Day 1: Kampala – Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park
Have an early Breakfast and drive to Kidepo National Park through Kampala – Soroti – Kotido via Amuria to the far North-East where Uganda borders Kenya and Southern Sudan.
Kidepo Valley National Park lies in the rugged, semi-arid valleys between Uganda’s borders with Sudan and Kenya, some 700km from Kampala. It is Uganda’s most isolated national park, has a profusion of big game and hosts over 77 mammal species as well as around 475 bird species.
Travel time from Kampala to Kidepo National Park is about 9 Hours.

Day 2: Explore Kidepo Valley National Park (Game Drive and Scenic Viewing)
After an early morning breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. Kanangorok hot springs, that flows between rocks, over-look expansive grassy plains dotted with big rocky outcrops and flanked by steep-jagged mountains with the summit ridges of Napore range, Taan and Natera hills, part of Nyangea, Morongole and Zuulia forest reserves.
Have an afternoon Game Drive that will take you through the Narus Valley to see herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras and hopefully some lions, leopard and the elusive cheetah. This will also enable you to be in full sight of varieties of birds as well. Stops will be made at any time in order for you to be able to take pictures of fabulous wildlife and birds along the way.

Day 3: Kidepo Valley National Park (Nature walk, Cultural Tour)
Have an early breakfast and go for a nature walk to view a variety of fauna and flora species in the park. Return to your camp for lunch and a brief rest in the mid-afternoon.
In the afternoon you will go for a cultural tour in the Karamajong community. The cattle-herding Karamojong occupy the north-east of Uganda, in an area covering one tenth of the country. Discover the unique culture of this remote tribe with the Lorukul Cultural Group; here you will spend a wonderful afternoon with Karamojong people and have an insight of their way of life and beliefs. At the end of the tour you will be able to understand why their pride makes them slow to adapt to globalization.

Day 4: Kidepo Valley National Park (Scenic viewing) – Drive to Kampala
After breakfast and experience a beautiful scenery as you travel back to Kampala having lunch en-route on the way.
