Day 01 Arrival In Nairobi

30km/0.5hrs Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, after customs and immigrations you will meet your Airport representative and transferred to your City Hotel. NAIROBI

Kenya’s capital city has risen in a single century from a brackish uninhabited swampland to a thriving modern capital.Modern Nairobi is still the safari capital of the Africa, but the modern world has quickly caught up with the city. A frontier town no more, Nairobi has become one of Africa’s largest, and most interesting cities.

Nairobi is a city that never seems to sleep. The entire town has a boundless energy, and is thriving place where all of human life can be found.

This is a place of great contrasts where race, tribe and origin all become facets of a unique Nairobi character.

The city has not lost its sense of the past, with an excellent museum and the historical home of Karen Blixen, author of Out of Africa open to visitors.

This is not a modern capital separated from the great wilderness that surrounds it. Just outside the city is Nairobi National Park, 113 sq kms of plains, cliffs and forest. The park is home to large herds of Zebra, Wildebeest, Buffalo, Giraffe and more. Rhino, Cheetah, and a large number of Lions are all found here, living wild within 20 minutes of the centre of town. Day 02 Nairobi/Mt. Kenya – Ol Pejeta Conservancy – 170km/3hrs

Breakfast and departure to Mount Kenya Area to Ol Pejeta Conservancy with a stop at Equator Point. Arrival at your Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon Game Drive incl. visit Chimpanzee Sanctuary. From a working cattle ranch in colonial Kenya, to a trailblazer of conservation innovation – the story of Ol Pejeta is as enchanting as it is inspirational.

Today, Ol Pejeta is the largest black rhino sanctuary in east Africa, and home to three of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino. It is the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees, in a Sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from the black market. It has some of the highest predator densities in Kenya, and still manages a very successful livestock programme. Ol Pejeta also seeks to support the people living around its borders, to ensure wildlife conservation translates to better education, healthcare and infrastructure for the next generation of wildlife guardians.

Breakfast and departure to Aberdares national park. Arrival at your Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon Game Drive in Aberdares.

Mt. Kenya, Africa’s second highest peak is regarded as the realm of Ngai, god of the local Kikuyu people. Traditionally, all Kikuyu home were built to face this sacred peak. They call it Kirinyaga, or place of light.

The mountain is an awe-inspiring sight. Its ragged series of peaks are crowned with snow, and its slopes are thick with forest. The mountain is best seen at dawn, when the days early light silhouettes its impressive summit high over the surrounding plains. Dinner and overnight at The Ark or similar (Full Board)

Day 04 Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Lake Naivasha – 200km/4-5hrs

Breakfast and departure to Lake Naivasha. Arrival at your Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon Boat Safari.

Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. The lake is almost 13kms across, but its waters are shallow with an average depth of five metres.

The lake and its surroundings are rich in natural bounty, and the fertile soils and water supply have made this one of Kenya’s prime agricultural regions. Much of the lake is surrounded by forests of the yellow barked Acacia Xanthophlea, known as the yellow fever tree.

These forests abound with bird life, and Naivasha is known as a world class birding destination. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes large hippo population sleep the day out in the shallows. Dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Lodge or similar (Full Board) Day 05 Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara Reserve – 280km/5hrs

Breakfast at your Lodge. Leave Naivasha for Masai Mara arriving in time for Lunch at your Lodge. Afternoon game drive. Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya- Africa. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland.

The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November.There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve.

Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). Dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure Camp or similar (Full Board)

Day 06 Masai Mara Reserve

Full day game drive with picnic lunches. Dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure Camp or similar (Full Board)

Day 07 Masai Mara Reserve – Nairobi – Depart – 260km/5hrs

Breakfast at your lodge. Check out and drive to Nairobi. Drop off at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport in Nairobi in the afternoon for your departure flight.
